What exactly is BreakHFT?
A preparation platform for high-frequency trading and quant interviews: diagnostics, structured lessons, question drills, spaced-repetition flashcards, locally-run coding practice, and later mentor-reviewed projects and mock interviews. Built as an affordable alternative to coaching.
Is BreakHFT affiliated with any trading firm?
No. We are an independent educational project with no affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from any trading firm, and we make no such claim.
How do crypto payments work?
Prices are set in USD and paid in stablecoins (USDT/USDC) on low-fee networks. When you check out we lock the quoted amount and address for 24 hours, you send the payment and submit your transaction hash, and a human verifies it on-chain before access is granted. You can follow the status on your account page.
What does 'verified' mean on achievements?
System-verified achievements are computed from your real platform activity (lessons completed, reviews, streaks). Mentor-verified ones are signed off by a mentor. Anything self-reported is never shown publicly and never counts toward rarity or rankings.
How do I export or delete my data?
Both are self-service: Settings → Privacy. The export is a JSON file of everything we hold about you (security secrets excluded). Deletion is immediate and removes all associated data.
