Prices are set in USD and paid in USD-pegged stablecoins, so there is no currency conversion anywhere. What changes by region is the price itself: we group countries into a small number of tiers scaled to local cost of living (anchored to World Bank income groups) and round the result to the nearest 10 cents.
Your region is detected server-side at checkout. It is locked to your account at the first verified payment, and later purchases always use the locked region — this keeps regional pricing resistant to abuse while staying honest. If the detected region is wrong, contact support before paying; genuine relocations are handled case by case with evidence.
One coupon per checkout, applied before checkout creates the invoice; verified students get an additional discount after review. A coupon can never reduce an invoice below $1.00.
Refunds are manual and made in stablecoin — see the Refund Policy (draft). No chargebacks exist in crypto payments, which is part of why prices can stay low.
